Flexible, based on client needs About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to work one‑on‑one with adults with special needs. This role blends in‑home support, community engagement, and assistance with daily living tasks. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and committed to helping individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity. Key Responsibilities In‑Home Support (Teaching the consumer): Light cleaning and household upkeep Laundry and basic home organization Meal preparation and cooking
Community Support:
Accompanying client to activities and outings Supporting participation in community events Transportation & Errands (assisting/teaching the consumer): Grocery shopping Doctor appointments Bank visits, post office runs, and other essential errands
Care Plan Implementation:
Follow outcomes and goals outlined in the client's personal plan Communicate progress or concerns with the client's support team Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Active car insurance Reliable transportation Positive, patient, and supportive attitude Preferred (but will train) CPR certification Compensation Wage dependent upon experience Additional training opportunities provided Why This Role Matters You'll be making a direct impact in someone's daily life — helping them maintain independence, build confidence, and stay connected to their community. Pay:
