Full Job Description Primary Objective:
To provide secretarial support to assigned personnel; communicating information to staff, the public, and other districts; orienting personnel to their job requirements; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested.
Essential Functions:
Provide administrative support or assistance to supervisor and in certain defined areas to supervisor or other personnel in the office Prepare and maintain student attendance information, and generate attendance reports and letters Answer phones and provide appropriate information or direction Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms Maintain existing filing system Monitor assigned activities and/or program components (i.e. school announcements, coordination of after school activities, managing Google Suite, Canva,, 1:1 Technology communications, discipline communications, mail merge, etc) Responds to emergency calls for the purpose of notifying appropriate parties to address immediate safety issues Responsible for maintaining confidentiality (ie:
FERPA, HIPPA
) Promote and practice an attitude of friendly cooperation and harmony throughout the school/building Demonstrate strong organizational and computer/technology skills (ie: Infinite Campus, Google Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office) Maintain effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Assist with set up for large meetings Assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor
Education:
High school diploma required
Experience:
1-3 years of office experience
