Bilingual Store Coordinator Location:
Clinton, Massachusetts Employment Type:
3+ months ongoing contract
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 or 3:00 p.m.
Pay Rate:
$20 per hour Position Summary A community-based nonprofit organization is seeking a bilingual Store Coordinator to assist with daily pantry operations and provide front-desk administrative support. The position will initially focus heavily on food pantry responsibilities while the selected candidate trains on administrative functions. Over time, the role is expected to transition to approximately 60-70% administrative support and 30-40% store operations. Responsibilities Stock and organize food pantry shelves. Welcome clients and guide them through the pantry. Help ensure food is distributed appropriately based on household size and established guidelines. Monitor inventory and identify restocking needs. Coordinate and communicate with volunteers. Build positive relationships with clients, volunteers, and community members. Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to general inquiries. Perform data entry and other general administrative tasks. Prepare and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and records using Microsoft Word and Excel. Provide additional front-desk and program support as needed. Qualifications Bilingual language skills are required. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Compassionate and respectful approach when assisting individuals and families. Ability to communicate clearly with clients, volunteers, and coworkers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to manage inventory and follow distribution guidelines. Willingness to perform both hands-on pantry work and office-based administrative duties. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. #TNG123
