Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Support manager, Materials Handling & Transportation leadership, and production operators in day-to-day tasks Responsibilities Maintain daily Material Handling & Transportation reports Maintain document control of all Material Handling records Schedule/ support interviews as needed Review payroll hours and track vacation hours for the department Provide monthly updates on departmental performance statistics Manage purchasing card for the department Maintain training records for all Shipping employees Perform other miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties Qualifications Required Strong safety record Strong computer aptitude/capability including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must be self-motivated, able to make independent decisions, and work without direct supervision Good written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking Preferred Bachelor's degree preferred Clerical experience a plus Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
