Job Description
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant for a company in Long Beach, Mississippi. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to daily office operations, assist customers and vendors, maintain records, and ensure efficient communication throughout the organization. This position requires excellent organizational skills, computer proficiency, financial acumen, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment . Pay Rate $19.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Greet customers, vendors, and visitors while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain and organize office files, records, and correspondence
- Prepare reports, forms, and other business documents as needed
- Assist with data entry, invoicing, and general clerical duties
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate office calendars
- Assist management with administrative projects and daily operational tasks
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Support accounting and purchasing functions as needed , both AP and AR
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with company procedures
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned Administrative Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous administrative assistant, office administration, or customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy office environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the building materials, lumber, or construction industry is a plus Job Type Full-time, Temporary to Hire Benefits
