Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being, ensuring they are prepared for their educational journey ahead. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and early childhood development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among students. Assess and document children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's growth and development. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or College Degree in related field preferred. Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies. Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus. Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities. A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their love for learning.
