Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant and Assistant Bookkeeper to join our growing construction company. In this role, you will manage day-to-day office operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the leadership team with essential administrative tasks. This is a full-time position that combines strong organizational skills, bookkeeping expertise, and the ability to handle fast-paced construction industry demands. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and client billing Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBook by helping with monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and handle cost tracking for individual jobs Process time and payroll Support project managers and Owners with document filing, contract tracking, and general office coordination Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Bookkeeper (construction or general office experience preferred) or college degree Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong communication skills (both written and verbal) High school diploma or equivalent; bookkeeping or accounting certification is a plus Join our team to be part of a vibrant construction company that values dedication, professionalism, and growth.
