Description TITLE Administrative Assistant STATUS Part-time, Hourly
HOURS 15- 20
hours per week WAGE $11.00 - $14.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications LEAVE Unpaid sick leave and vacation leave are granted at the Executive Director's discretion
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Receives direction from and reports to the Executive Director, while still maintaining a moderate level of independence in carrying out daily responsibilities and tasks.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Under the guidance of the Executive director, the Administrative Assistant may assign tasks and provide oversight to volunteers. Summary of Position The Little Sprouts Academy (LSA) Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in administering the day-to-day operations of the Academy. The Administrative Assistant is a year-round, part-time, position that averages about 20 hours per week. Shift times and lengths may vary; schedule changes will bemunicated in advance.

To acknowledge families as the first and most important teachers, while developing a partnership to support them on their journey •Minimum Qualifications•Must be a high school graduate or have a GED; A college degree is preferred; Previous experience working in an office administration capacity is preferred, but not required
Must have exceptional verbal, written, electronic, and social-mediamunication skills
Must be able to work both independently and with detailed direction and oversight
Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
Must strive to maintain a positive, gracious, and service-minded attitude at all times
Must possess excellentputer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email, etc.
Must exhibit an awareness of and sensitivity to individual children's needs
Must be a born-again Christian who professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Must agree with and be willing to be held accountable to the Academy's statements of faith and Christianmunity
Must demonstrate consistent, biblical, love and care for children and their families
- Job Responsibilities
- Order or purchase supplies, materials, equipment, etc.
Assist in the enrollment process; paperwork, data entry, scheduling, giving facility tours
Assist the Executive Director in keeping records and maintaining accurate databases
Assist with licensing needs, including paperwork, updating files, etc.
Assist with marketing, advertising, newsletters, and social media efforts
Serve as the receptionist by answering phones, greeting families, responding to inquiries
Assist in preparing for events and meetings and attend those events and meetings
As needed and directed, help Assistant Teachers in various aspects of planned programs and classroom activities
Without exception, treat each child and their family members with dignity and respect
Assist the Executive Director in other tasks as needed and assigned Continuing Education Requirements Will be required to take ECE courses to fill in as a substitute teacher TO ,plete a generic application and submit to Job Service.
