We're looking for a dependable, detail-loving Assistant Organizer to join our Asheville team — with a genuine opportunity to grow into a Lead Organizer role for the right person. What You'll Do Partner with our Lead Organizers on client sessions (typically 4-8 hours) Sort, declutter, unpack, and organize client spaces Help create functional, calm, and beautiful homes and offices Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and teammates Support donation drop-offs, product runs, and project setup as needed Who You Are Organized, dependable, and solution-focused Professional, warm, and discreet in clients' homes Calm under pressure and comfortable taking ownership of your work A strong communicator who follows through Looking for long-term work you can grow in — not a temporary side hustle Prior professional organizing experience is a plus, especially if you're interested in growing into a leadership role The Schedule (Please Read Carefully) This is a part-time, project-based role with variable weekly hours that depend on client bookings and seasonal demand. Some weeks have multiple projects; other weeks may have none. Scheduled hours fall Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays. It's a great fit if you want flexible, meaningful work and can handle an irregular schedule — it is not a full-time position with guaranteed hours or benefits. Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $22/hour as an Assistant Organizer A clear path to Lead Organizer ($24-$28/hour) as you gain experience, take on more responsibility, and grow with our team What You'll Need A reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license (for client sites, donation drop-offs, and supply runs) The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand 6-8 hours a day, bend, kneel, and navigate stairs Comfort with everyday technology (Slack, Google Photos, Google Drive, Docs, Gmail) How to Apply Submit your resume and a short note telling us why you're excited about professional organizing and this flexible, project-based role.
