Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. Hours are Monday-Thursday. As the Front Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our front desk and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a key role in our organization, as you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. If you have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Manage the front desk operations, including greeting patients/visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
- Coordinate and maintain appointments and meetings, ensuring schedules are properly managed for the Doctor and Hygiene
- Confirm all appointments 48 hours in advance
- Maintain a short call list for last minute cancellations to avoid gaps in the schedule
- Perform proofreading tasks to ensure accuracy of statements, email correspondence and documents
- Provide support to dental team and assist with office tasks as needed
- Coordinate referrals and lab cases
- Efficient with over the counter collections on date of service
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area, reception area and patient restroom.
- Order and maintain office supplies necessary to perform duties.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front office management/scheduling role is preferred
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in practice management/office software and professional email etiquette
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all office communication
