Job Description

Shift:
First Shift Monday -
Friday:
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM We are looking for a reliable Plant Administrative Assistant to manage our front desk and keep our daily production logistics running smoothly. In this role, you will handle visitor access, coordinate label production, manage purchasing orders, and assist with facility safety tasks.
Position Summary:
The plant admin asst. serves as the main point of contact for plant guests, while providing front desk management and general office support for production operations.
Essential Functions:
Perform basic front office tasks, including answering phones, managing gate and office access. Welcoming visitors and direct personnel, truck, and visitor traffic. Supporting package and service deliveries. Maintain visitor log book for facility. Prepare and maintain visitor PPE. Manage facility locker assignments and upkeep. Responsible for daily label coordination. Source and receive printing supplies. Maintain and trouble shoot label production equipment. Purchasing and receiving responsibilities for pallet, cardboard shipments, and office supplies. Document control of Q-wiki. Ensuring documentation accuracy and timeliness. Assist with safety tasks and initiatives such as facility recycling management, ladder inspections, and safety audit support. Assists with Continuous improvement initiatives and Q-Matrix updates. Assists with container reports.
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous office experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficency with Microsoft Office Applications. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently. Must demonstrate a high attention to detail. Must have strong professional communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong organizational skills required. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work load
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Office Environment and periodic production area environment.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
