Job Description

Job Summary We, at MediThrive Personalized Wellness, are in search of team members who take initiative, can adapt to an evolving practice and are willing to participate in advancing medicine, an amazing patient experience, and the overall wellness of the surrounding community. We are seeking someone who wants to grow with our organization and contribute to the success of the MediThrive brand within the community. The best candidates must possess an enthusiastic and energetic personality that is willing to contribute ideas to better the practice and patient experience, professionalism, character, and above all else, integrity. Primary Job Function Create the best possible first impression for our patients and potential patients, both in person and on the phone Administrative work including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, answering billing and service-related questions, collecting payment for services and/or products, sending and receiving faxes, and other duties assigned by providers or managers Contact patients regarding the scheduling of follow-up visits and procedures, as outlined in the Treatment Plan Update patient chart notes and files in EMR as needed Work with multiple providers to ensure proper patient flow and practice efficiency Learn and administer both attended and unattended therapies Exhibit the use of therapeutic communication, exceptional customer service, professionalism, timeliness, efficiency, and teamwork in all aspects of work Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and learning sessions Actively participate in quality improvement processes while being open to ongoing changes Keep all protected health information (PHI) confidential and abide by HIPAA guidelines for the release and disclosure of any PHI Consolidate banking on a monthly basis for services paid for via cash or check and reconcile these transactions in Quickbooks. Required Skills Experience in sales, customer service administration or medical office preferred 1 year of customer service experience preferred Must be a team player - be willing to help support other departments when needed Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. 1 year of experience working within an integrative medicine clinic preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Document management and excellent organizational skills Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task effectively Previous experience with an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system and working in an EHR environment Commitment to Alternative Healing Modalities and MediThrive Personalized Wellness clinic's values and mission Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks preferred Our clinic is busy and growing, serving our patients with the most forward-thinking medical approach. $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
