General Affairs Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Affairs Maintenance Specialist to support the daily operations and upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, ensuring a safe and clean work environment, guard duties and assisting with general operational needs across departments. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and facility issues in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, grounds, and workspaces Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services Monitor inventory and restock maintenance supplies as needed Assist with office setups, moves, and equipment installations Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Assist with Guard duties Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and climbing Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Hours:

Fri, Sat, Sun 7a-7p with one day thru the week 8a-5p
