Job Description

The Village of Lake Park is accepting applications for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. Working under the direction of the Village Administrator, this position provides administrative, clerical, customer service, and records management support for Village operations. Responsibilities include assisting residents, supporting Village boards and commissions, maintaining public records, coordinating communications, supporting Parks and Recreation programs, stormwater administration, as well as other municipal operations. Schedule The regular schedule shall be: Not less than three (3) days per week. Work schedule to be established during the hiring process based on operational needs. Weekly average total of 12-15 hours. Additional hours will be required for evening meetings, seasonal programs, and other operational needs of the Village. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and progressively responsible administrative experience. Valid North Carolina driver's license. North Carolina Notary Public commission, or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months. Compensation Salary is commensurate with the selected candidate's education, qualifications, certifications, and related experience.

$18.50 - $23.00 per hour
