Job Summary :
Guardian Community Care is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within our home care agency. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the office and management team Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and client documentation Assist with caregiver scheduling and coordination Support onboarding and training processes for new hires Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service Assist with compliance documentation and audits Manage data entry and ensure accuracy across systems Help coordinate communication between staff, clients, and leadership Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or medical office administration preferred Experience with HHA Exchange is a strong plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, data entry systems) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Detail-oriented with strong time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
