Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential as a dedicated School Psychologist in a supportive educational environment near Knightdale, NC. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster academic achievement and emotional well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies Ability to interpret data and generate comprehensive reports Exceptional communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and individualized plans Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to create supportive environments Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 plans Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Offer professional development to staff on behavioral and academic supports Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district policies regarding special education services
