Job Description

Mistletoe Meadows Christmas Tree Farm is looking for a seasonal office and farm support assistant. Our farm produces trees, wreaths, and garlands that are shipped to wholesale customers, our retail lots, and our farm Choose & Cut. Come join our team and help spread Christmas joy to thousands! The farm office is located in Laurel Springs, NC and coordinates wholesale orders, shipping, production schedules, payroll, etc. All of our products are fresh and must be harvested, produced, and shipped in a timely matter. We have a lot to do in a short amount of time while also running our Choose & Cut operation on the farm. At Mistletoe Meadows, we believe every farm task and customer interaction helps create a magical Christmas memory and experience. We're looking for someone who is warm, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, and can balance office support along with outside work as needed. You'll become part of our seasonal Choose & Cut team and also assist our wholesale tree and greenery managers. We work in a team-oriented environment that is casual but intense and fast-paced due to our harvest and production deadlines. We work hard in all types of weather to bring genuine Christmas cheer to our customers. Housing is provided. The job will start in mid-late October and will last through early December. We would love to talk to you about our opportunities.
What You'll Do:
Support office staff/tree & greenery managers with administrative and customer service needs (running paperwork from field to office, assisting with inventory counts at the outdoor loading yard, completing data entry, answering phones, answering emails, assisting with production and delivery schedules, etc.). Assist the Choose & Cut team by helping set up barn and greenery areas before weekend guests arrive, assist with stocking supplies, welcoming and greeting guests, providing guests with directions, answering questions, and serving complimentary refreshments. Choose & Cut operates on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and requires the whole team to keep operations running smoothly. Welcome visitors to the office and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service. Process payments and assist with retail sales as needed. Assist wherever needed (either indoor or outdoor) to ensure every guest enjoys an organized, stress-free, and magical visit to the farm with genuine Christmas cheer.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has a genuine passion for serving people and can help create magical holiday memories. Is dependable, organized, and willing to assist wherever help is needed---in the field, in the barn, on the outdoor loading yard, or in the office. Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Can work outside in a variety of weather conditions. Has experience with computers and customer service. Can lift up to 50lbs and be on their feet for long periods of time. Communicates with kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Works well as part of a team and takes pride in creating an exceptional customer experience.
