Job Description

Location :
New Bern Pay $14-15/hr
DOE Hours :
12-20 hours per week, flexible. Could be something like 10am to 2pm 3-4 days per week to start, with potential to grow into a full-time position. Position Overview As a Guest Services Coordinator , you will serve as the welcoming face and first point of contact for our business. This position plays an important role in creating a professional, friendly, and positive experience for clients, tenants, and visitors. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the leasing and daily operations of a conference center in downtown New Bern , as well as assisting with the leasing of 12 private office spaces . Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, and inquiries from prospective conference center clients and office-space tenants. Assist with leasing efforts by communicating with prospective clients, answering questions, scheduling tours, and helping facilitate the rental process. Welcome guests and visitors to the conference center and ensure their needs are met throughout their use of the facilities. Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming environment. Monitor and replenish facility supplies, including restroom supplies, coffee and refreshments, paper products, and other necessary items. Assist with preparing conference rooms and facilities for scheduled events and meetings. Support marketing efforts by posting advertisements, creating or sharing social media content, and assisting with other promotional activities. Help build positive relationships with clients, tenants, and members of the local community. Perform other duties related to customer service, facility operations, leasing, and marketing as needed. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, dependable, and outgoing , with a genuine interest in meeting people and being involved in the local community.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong computer and communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. A professional and welcoming demeanor. The ability to work independently and stay organized. Strong attention to detail. Previous sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus. The flexibility to work part-time initially, with the potential for increased hours and full-time employment as the business grows. This position may also be structured as two part-time positions , depending on business needs and scheduling. Pay:
