Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Office Assistant and become the backbone of our administrative operations! This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and is passionate about delivering exceptional support. As an Office Assistant, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth daily operations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized workspace. Your proactive attitude and technical proficiency will help foster a welcoming and efficient office atmosphere, that will allow the school to run efficiently. Responsibilities Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with professional phone etiquette. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using spreadsheets, Microsoft Office productivity software, and QuickBooks accounting software. Assist with office management tasks such as calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings. Support clerical functions including word processing, proofreading documents, and handling correspondence to ensure clarity and professionalism. Provide customer support by responding to inquiries via phone or email, ensuring positive client communication and support. Maintain office supplies inventory, coordinate maintenance requests, and ensure the overall organization of office spaces. Support administrative projects by managing files, preparing reports, and assisting with special tasks as needed to enhance productivity. Provide day to day administrative support to the owner with emailing, documents, records, scheduling and other administrative tasks.
SKILLS:
This Positon requires professionalism,discretion and strict confidentiality reguarding sensitve company and employee, financial, and personal information. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry. Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Effective communication skills for front desk interactions, client communication, and phone support. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse client needs. Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and office management best practices. Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail in proofreading and document preparation. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality work standards.

Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 - 40.0 per week
