Tidewater Transit is dedicated to providing quick solutions and long-term partnerships for its clients. Overview Under the direction of the Manager, Special Products, this position will provide support for operational, technology and product based initiatives. We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to provide administrative support for special projects, fleet technology initiatives, equipment administration, reporting, and used truck sales operations..
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Assist with the transfer of equipment and titles through IRP and related registration processes. 2. Maintain and manage equipment records and Unit Master data within fleet maintenance systems. 3. Track and manage equipment locations, transfers and status updates. 4. Coordinate Company tablet inventory, deployment and tracking. 5. Manage KPI scorecards, reporting and operational tracking reports. 6. Support used truck sales operations including: a. Managing website and online equipment listings. b. Preparing quotes and customer paperwork. c. Assisting with financing coordination Processing bills of sale, titles and other required motor vehicle paperwork. d. Coordinating payment collection and sale completion 7. Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing company projects.
REQUIREMENTS 1.
Transportation, fleet operations, logistics or technology experience preferred, but not required. 2. Experience with Fleet management systems or telematic platforms preferred but not required. 3. Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 4. Strong organizational skills, follow up skills and attention to detail. 5. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. 6. Comfortable working with vendors, customers and internal personnel. Self motivated with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
