Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into solid, durable structures! In this energetic role, you'll work hands-on with concrete and related materials, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy lifting, concrete pouring, rebar installation, and more—all while contributing to impactful construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications Set up and dismantle formwork and molds using carpentry skills and hand tools to shape concrete structures Install rebar reinforcement securely following blueprint instructions to ensure structural integrity Operate power tools and concrete pumps safely for efficient material placement on-site Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for everyone Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for concrete work, including masonry and stucco applications Skills Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete finishing and construction Experience with hardscape design, concrete cutting, caulking, trim carpentry, and renovation projects Proficiency in interpreting blueprint specifications for formwork construction and rebar placement Knowledge of concrete mixing techniques, pouring procedures, and finishing methods for flawless surfaces Familiarity with construction site safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, floats, chisels, saws, drills, and power tools for various tasks Experience with metal stud framing, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and concrete pumping systems This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction while mastering essential skills like concrete finishing techniques, and site safety.
