This is the entry level position of the administrative hierarchy. Employees at this level provide administrative support to work groups in the organization. Completes work with close supervision under clearly defined procedures and serves in a non-exempt capacity. Responsibilities Uses business software applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and e-mail. Maintains files and calendars. Responsible for arranging business travel, coordinating meeting arrangements, and tracking expenses. Responsible for assistance with invoice processing Basic/Required Qualifications Admin I HS Diploma / GED Additional Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Effective oral and written communications skills. Ability to effectively interface with multiple levels across a department, e.g. managers, supervisors, employees. Strong computer skills Working Conditions Onsite Mobility Classification - Work will be performed at a company facility. On-site employees are also required to live within a reasonable daily commute to their assigned work location, not greater than 50 miles one way. Performs work in normal office environment May be required to provide assistance in multiple areas as needed Position may be located at a generating plant, regional office, etc Prolonged sitting at desk/computer May be required to travel for training and/or assistance at other sites and may be required to work overtime.
