Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) EPIC Discovery Center We are seeking an organized and adaptable Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing STEAM-based discovery center. This part-time position will serve as the backbone of our office, helping manage administrative functions that keep the organization running smoothly. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to many areas of the organization. This role is designed to be flexible and may evolve based on the strengths and interests of the successful candidate. Responsibilities may include office management, bookkeeping support, employee and volunteer coordination, donor and fundraising support, and general administrative tasks . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with computers and office systems, reliable, and enjoys working in an environment where no two days are the same. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and wants to help build an exciting new community resource serving children and families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a vibrant workplace. Key Responsibilities may include Provide general administrative and office support Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping Help coordinate and communicate with employees and volunteers Support fundraising and donor record management Assist the team with administrative needs and special projects Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using computers and common office software Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Experience with bookkeeping, nonprofit operations, or volunteer coordination is a plus Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer May need to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times Why Join Us?
