Job Description

Accepting applications for a candidate who possess strong secretarial/office management experience to work in our Nebraska Region Office. Who Are We? PeopleService, Inc. provides contract operations to small-to-medium municipalities and industrial clients in the area of water and wastewater. We have 183 professional water/wastewater operators responsible for over 200 clients throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota and Illinois. What Will You Be Doing? Provide a full-range of administrative, clerical and office support, such as managing calendars, answering phones, filing, etc. Process incoming invoices/statements, which entails matching supporting documentation, ensure proper coding assigned, and secure necessary approvals. Review and analyze accounting reports to ensure cost & revenue is accurately reported to meet financial goals. This could include preparing financial spreadsheets. Accurately and timely process monthly billing for region clients. Conduct new employee orientation, which will include instructional guidance on various software programs used throughout the company, setting up iPhones, reviewing policies/procedures, ordering uniforms/business cards, and promoting safety and company culture. Review for accuracy, ensure timely submission, and approve employee timesheets & expense reports. Work closely with region personnel to ensure monthly council reports are completed timely and provide valuable information with little to no grammatical or punctuation errors. Other duties as assigned or apparent in order for the region to be successful. This position will not be a remote position - must report to Nebraska Region office in North Bend. What Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Are We Looking For? 2-3 yeas secretarial/office management experience. Comprehensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required. Experience working with UKG Workforce Ready timekeeping system a strong plus. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare accurate and reliable reports, containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Strong organizational habits with the ability to prioritize the workload to meet deadlines. Customer focused and able to build strong working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors, and regulatory personnel. Able to positively support company/region decisions or changes when talking with co-workers. Ability to solve problems and make decisions within area of responsibility. Reliability is key to the success of this position. The work environment requires the position to wear many hats within the course of a workday and requires the balancing of work requests from a variety of sources.
