St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Belin, NH is looking for a Administrative Assistant to join our team. St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Berlin, NH, is an 74-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire's continuum of care. This is an 8am-4pm Monday through Friday position with no weekends or nights required! We have an impressive resident to employee ratios allows our caregivers to thrive by focusing on providing quality care which is fundamental to our person-centered care philosophy. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth communication within our facility. This role involves managing reception duties, assisting visitors, and supporting the administrative functions of the Business Office. Full time

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, ensuring a calm environment throughout the facility. Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for performing reception functions as instructed by the Business Office Manager (BOM). Efficiently utilize the phone and paging system to locate personnel within the facility. Answer and screen phone calls to determine the nature of the call and direct the caller to the appropriate person, delivering messages when necessary. Greet visitors, guests, family members, and residents; determine the purpose of their visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location. Report any suspicious persons or activities to the appropriate authorities. Job Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in using phone systems and basic office equipment. Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a busy environment. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is preferred.
