Job Description

Comac Pump & Well LLC, in business for over 75 years, seeks a positive and outgoing Office Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position with the potential for some flexibility, and pay is commensurate with experience. History of working in the Service industry preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Duties:
Answer all incoming calls. Receive emergency and non-emergency calls from customers, gain a thorough understanding from the customer the nature of the problem or request and record significant information. Evaluate urgency and prioritize requests promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to- date records of customer interactions and requests. Performing tasks such as invoicing, payables and receivables, maintaining general office files including job files, vendor files and other files related to the company's operations. Ordering product and office supplies, post office runs and other errands. Generate reports as needed. Permitting, Town and State recording as required. Performing other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Strong customer service and exceptional phone skills are expected. Strong verbal skills to communicate clearly and effectively. Highly self-motivated with excellent time management, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks at the same time with a high quality of work. Exhibit a positive attitude when working with customers and technicians. Must be dependable, team oriented, have common sense and good judgement. Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g, Microsoft Word, Excel) Excellent reading, writing and math skills. Must possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
