This role is essential in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient administrative workflows. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a strong proficiency in computer literacy. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional environment where attention to detail and customer service excellence are valued. Our client is ideally looking for someone to work 40 hours a week but part time hours are a consideration (25+ hours a week). This is a temp to hire opportunity. Responsibilities First point of contact for phone calls, answering questions, greeting visitors, handling concerns/issues with professionalism and courtesy. Complex administrative support including calendar management, meeting preparation of materials, coordination of follow ups and action items, and management of reoccurring meetings. Coordinate processes and procedures. Oversight of the office conference room, supply closet, reception area; ordering necessary supplies and office equipment as needed. Assist with onboarding materials, ordering equipment or supplies, coordinating building tours for new hires, and aid in logistical planning for new hire onboarding and orientation. Assist with the tracking and oversight of budget line items. Planning and executing events. Sole collector as well as creator and distributor of materials and information for the newsletter (i.e., shoutouts, good news) and reporting of data analytics of that publication. Prepare reports as well as extensive data gathering projects. Coordinate with a variety of departments on special programs as needed. Participate in reoccurring meetings. Coordinate the requests, submission, and approval process for the annual graduate faculty nominations from each program. Additional responsibilities as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience is preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and professionalism is required. Workday is preferred.
