Job Description

Nashua Eye Associates P.A. Has been serving the community for over 45 years. We are currently looking for an Appointment Secretary to join our team in the Nashua office. If you have a passion for the medical field and working with patients, we want to speak with you. Candidates must be able to establish a good rapport with patients, possess a caring and cooperative personality, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position is responsible for:
scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling appointments for patients following up on cancelled and missed appointments monitoring physician schedules for openings. Taking specific detailed messages from patients requesting medical advice, prescription refills, or surgery information and transfers to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner. Routinely performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by their supervisor. Always Maintaining the confidentiality of the patient and practice All work is to be performed according to quality and safety standards set for the practice.
Position requirements:
Ability to balance multiple tasks at the same time effectively and efficiently Organization, with a strong attention to detail Excellent customer service and phone presence with proficient speaking and listening skills the ability to show good judgment, quick decision making, and efficient management of the telephone system Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain clear and cooperative working relationships with co-workers and demonstration of regular attendance and punctuality is essential.
