The Opportunity Description Looking for a flexible part-time opportunity where your organizational skills can make a real impact? We're seeking a detail-oriented Occupancy Specialist / Administrative Assistant to support our affordable housing community in Nashua, NH. This position is ideal for someone with affordable housing or property management experience who enjoys working independently and keeping paperwork organized. The schedule is just 8 hours per week, ideally completed in one day, with flexibility available.
What You'll Do:
Complete occupancy paperwork, resident files, recertifications, and other administrative documentation while maintaining compliance. Assist with HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit, or other affordable housing paperwork and ensure files are accurate and audit-ready. Support the property team with data entry, scanning, filing, answering phones, and general office administration. Maintain organized resident records while providing professional customer service to residents, applicants, and visitors. Work independently, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met with strong attention to detail. Prior experience in affordable housing, occupancy, leasing administration, or property management is preferred.
Qualifications:
Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years related property management experience and familiarity with the recertification process 2+ years' experience in property management with EIV experience Extensive knowledge of property management software, OneSite experience a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, federally-assisted, and all State and local housing regulations Compensation & Benefits $23-$26 per hour Flexible schedule with approximately 8 hours per week (ideal for one day per week) Supportive team environment Opportunity to utilize your affordable housing and administrative expertise while maintaining work-life balance About Wingate Wingate Management Company is an award-winning leader in apartment management with nearly 60 years of experience.
