We are looking for a Bilingual in Spanish Project Assistant to support daily program and site operations in New Jersey. This long-term contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can stay organized, coordinate multiple moving parts, and provide dependable hands-on support in a fast-paced environment. The position combines administrative coordination, schedule tracking, record maintenance, and on-site operational assistance to help projects and community distribution activities run smoothly. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the flexibility to assist both staff and volunteers as needs change.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate schedules, milestones, and day-to-day timelines to keep projects and distribution activities on track.
  • Provide hands-on operational support by receiving shipments, organizing materials, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Maintain orderly documentation by scanning files, updating records, and tracking inventory, client information, and activity logs.
  • Assist project leadership with scheduling priorities, progress follow-up, and general administrative support across active initiatives.
  • Guide and support volunteers by helping with onboarding, task direction, and daily oversight during program activities.
  • Monitor workflows to promote compliance with applicable program standards, procedures, and service expectations.
  • Contribute to new service approaches and pilot initiatives, including alternative distribution methods and other operational improvement efforts.
