Company Overview Meals on Wheels in Hunterdon is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to serving the senior community of Hunterdon County. Our mission is to provide nutritious meals and support services, ensuring that seniors can maintain their independence and quality of life. Summary We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team at Meals on Wheels in Hunterdon. This role is essential in supporting our daily operations and ensuring that our services run smoothly. The Office Assistant will play a vital role in helping us fulfill our mission of serving seniors in our community. Responsibilities Manage daily office tasks, including phone coverage, greet & assist visitors, filing and data entry, . Assist in scheduling and coordinating meal deliveries for seniors. Provide excellent customer service to clients and volunteers. Maintain accurate records of client information and service requests. Support the team with administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency. Manage social media and online presence. Requirements Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace applications (Docs, etc.). Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Familiarity with social media platforms. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A compassionate attitude towards serving seniors and understanding their needs.
