Job Description

The Food Services Fiscal Monitor plays an integral role in supporting the mission and goals of the Food Services Department. This position requires a well-rounded professional with the ability to oversee, manage, and document departmental finances, accounting procedures, and financial reporting, while providing consultation and support to ensure fiscal accountability and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Food Services Fiscal Monitor shall: Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Have a minimum of five (5) years of data processing experience. Possess a valid driver's license with no serious violations. Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Demonstrate integrity, good moral character, and initiative. Demonstrate effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary; bilingual abilities are a plus. Possess knowledge of office and accounting functions, including payroll preparation, filing system design and maintenance, supply requisition generation, and the assignment and monitoring of clerical functions. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of electronic equipment and software for word processing, data management, and telecommunications. Possess strong organizational skills. Demonstrate exceptional computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Edumet is preferred.
