Type:
full-time Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) DOVE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized? Administrative Assistant ?to support the day-to-day operations of our Verona NJ office. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys contributing to a mission-driven organization serving Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial donations and donor communications using the organization's tracking software. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including processing vendor payments through QuickBooks. Receive, organize, and distribute incoming mail. Coordinate travel arrangements and provide travel-related administrative support. Assist with inventory management and coordinate with external vendors. Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, including handling a variety of day-to-day office needs and special projects.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Proficiency with QuickBooks or willingness to learn. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced nonprofit environment. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting the mission of DOVE. The ideal candidate is resourceful, flexible, and able to work both independently and in close partnership with the Executive Director.
