Part Time Non-Exempt Reports to: IDD Supervisor Located in Toms River NJ, Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) is part of the New Jersey Children's System of Care, utilizing a wraparound strength-based approach for children/youth in need. We are a Care Management Organization that helps children/youth with mental health, substance use and developmental disabilities meet their goals but working their team to create an individualized service plan.Position Summary:
The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Administrative Assistant is a professional whose primary responsibility is to assist the IDD Specialist in the development disability application process. The IDD Administrative Assistant is required to be able to effectively communicate with youth, families and community- based resources to ensure applications are moving forward. This position is part time with a work week of 20 hours.Major Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to the IDD Specialist to maintain the DD (youth) and DDD (adult) applicant waitlists. Make phone calls to families to assist with application completion. Manage documentation with updates on applicants in Microsoft One Note. May co-facilitate informational sessions to the community. Assist the IDD Specialist with administrative tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.Competencies:
