Someone to join our team and provide support to colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing office assistance, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing files, and other general office duties. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the team. Answer & make phone calls (10-30 phone calls per day) and emails in a timely manner. Create, organize and maintain files and records, electronic and physical. Ability to work well in a team environment. Being able to triage priorities, delegate tasks if needed, and handle conflict in a reasonable fashion. Proficiently being able to use Outlook, Excel, Word etc Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures Perform data entry tasks. Assist with special projects as needed.Qualifications :
Policies, procedures and terminology related to the department or function to which assigned. Office administrative practices and procedures, including filing and standard operation of office equipment. Correct oral and written business English usage, including spelling grammar and punctuation. Business data processing principles. Follow Other Skills Organizing and prioritizing work to meet critical deadlines. Evaluating and interpreting medical and treatment records Interpreting and applying rules and explaining policies and procedures. Using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines. Operating standard office equipment including use of computers, word processing and medical billing software. Ability to make clear, precise sensible decisions pertaining to any situation. Understanding and carrying out oral and written directions. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.Preferred:
2 year administrative assistant or office personnel experienceSalary Information:
$16.00 -$20 per hourOffice:
2 years minimum- Monday-Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30pm
Word, Outlook, Excel:
2 year minimum required- Ability to shift priorities: 2 year minimum
- Excellent written and verbal skills: 2 years minimum
