Job Description

Qualifications:

High School Diploma; possess excellent administrative skills with an emphasis in computer knowledge

Reports to: Director of Technology and Special Projects

Job Goal:

To provide the Administrative Assistance to the Director of Technology and Special Projects, to include Centralized Student Registration and NJ Smart Reporting for the West Deptford School District.

Performance Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities

1. Acts as the Director of Technology and Special Projects' personal and confidential Administrative Assistant

2. Acts as the Receptionist/Greeter for Central Office.

3. Compiles and maintains all records pertaining to Centralized Registration of new students in our District.

4. Responsible for Student SID Management Submission.

5. Responsible for Staff SMID Management Submission

6. Responsible for Special Education Submission.

7. Prepares Staff Submission Report.

8. Prepares Pre-Id Label Testing Submission.

8a. Assists with Homeless Students and McKinney-Vento paperwork.

9. Coordinates and maintains LEA Student Management.

10. Coordinates and maintains LEA Staff Management.

11. Manages and tracks Out-of-District student placement and attendance.

12. Attend trainings for new submissions and data elements

13. Coordinate all NJ Smart Data Elements from PowerSchool, Student Tracker, Systems 3000 and Bus Boss.

14. Prepares Staff Course Roster Submission

15. Prepares Student Course Roster Submission

16. Oversees and maintains NJ Smart User Management

17. Responsible for all future submissions or additions to NJ Smart Data Collection

18. Prepares and submits Purchase Orders for the Director of Technology and Special Projects.

19. Assumes other duties and responsibilities incidental of the office or as assigned by the Central Office

2. Work conditions are typical office environment temperatures of 65 to 80 degrees.

4. Exposure to a building in which a variety of chemical substances are used for cleaning, instruction, and/or operation of equipment.

5. Function in a workplace that is usually moderately quiet but that can be noisy at times.

5. Use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception along with the ability to focus vision.

6. Heavy computer utilization with ability to observe a computer monitor for hours of the day is required.

7. Minor standing time for copier utilization from time to time.

8. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. to move office boxes when necessary.

$52,740 to $56,000 Negotiable
