Manager of Student Nutrition Program General Job Description - Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: ? Menu Planning ? Taste Testing with students ? Community outreach for menu planning ? Manage site share tables ? Auditing of Summer Meal Sites ? Assist processing free & reduced priced meal applications, especially during the first month of school. ? Completes Personnel Action Forms for new employees or any other personnel changes. ? Tracks probationary evaluation dates. ? Double checks SNP employee contracts. ? Compile spreadsheets (re: salary/benefits) for Manager. ? The Coach must demonstrate leadership in player and staff development, integrity, sportsmanship, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills. They must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of their sport as it pertains to the policies of New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA).General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge in implementing a written team rules which includes a philosophy statement and discusses acceptable player behavior, practice procedures, substance abuse policies and other guidelines that relate to program management. Conduct a pre-season meeting with parents and players to share these policies and procedures. 2. Have a thorough knowledge of all District and the NMAA Policies and be responsible for their implementation. 3. Understand and follow the proper administrative line of command and refer all requests or grievances through proper channels. 4. Continue professional growth by attending team practices and meeting with the high school head coach. 5. Conduct oneself as a positive role model. 6. Assist the high school head coach in implementing all team rules (to vertically align with high school program). 7. Update roster inside RankOne. 8. Report all rule violations or suspected violations to the District Athletic Director. 9. Consult with the program head coach, or the district athletic director, in matters of purchasing equipment, scheduling, and coaching assignments. 10. Work to develop a positive athlete-coach relationship. 11. Coaches must ensure that all athletes participating in their sport are academically eligible. This includes checking grades before the start of the season and during the season as well. Every student athlete must remain eligible according to NMAA policies. 12. Implement a sport specific safety plan. This includes a hazards free practice environment. If something needs to be fixed place a district work order to fix that problem immediately and report it to your campus athletic coordinator. 13. Be responsible for the collection of equipment and have athletic fines resolved by the end of the season. 14. Prepare travel requests for trips in advance; rosters and itineraries at least prior to the 24 hours of departure. 15. Remain at practice or contest until all athletes have left the athletic area. 16. Inspect locker room with the visiting coach before and after contest. 17. The Head Coach must ride the team bus or his/her designee, if unable, to and from practices or contest. 18. Require appropriate behavior on road trips by supervising students at opponent's school. 19. Promote and encourage fair play, good sportsmanship, and ethical standards of conduct both on and off the field. 20. Forewarn all participants that involvement in physical confrontation could result in removal from game and /or suspension from subsequent games. 21. Utilize and monitor RankOne Sport system. 22. Maintain a yearly inventory of all new and used equipment. 23. Maintain confidentiality, both verbally and written form, of each student's record; as well as coaches information and athletic personnel. 24. Comply with all Board of Education policies, administrative regulations, Public Education Department guidelines and local/state/federal laws and theNMAA. 25.

Maintains necessary records and completes required paperwork in a specified time and manner. 1. Ensure that all athletes have valid sports physical examinations before they can 2.
