Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Office Services Administrative Assistant at our Elko Business Office. The successful candidate is responsible for frontline customer service in an often fast-paced environment as well as a variety of administrative duties. Responsibilities:
Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors, assist with incoming inquiries, and resolve problems using knowledge of department policies and procedures. Support and maintain Temporary Employee / Contingent Worker company program. Perform support tasks such as document control, data entry, and expense management. Coordinating events including but not limited to planning, scheduling, room set-up, catering, participant travel arrangements and technology coordination Support and maintain Employment Security Division claims. Assist with coordinating facility maintenance such as preventative maintenance, general repairs and remodeling of our industrial, commercial and residential facilities Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors. Establishing work relationships vital to efficiently execute the daily maintenance activities. Provide confidential administrative support for the Human Resources department. Monitor and circulate mail, records, publications, and order and maintain office supplies. Serve as a liaison between managers, employees, and business partners; scheduling of appointments and meetings. Prepare confidential documents and presentations. Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly communications. Generate requests for payment; code and enter data. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication & customer service skills required Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times required Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion required Ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced, demanding environment required Ability to work unsupervised, with attention to detail, and understand/follow work standards and procedures required Ability to multi-task, self-manage and self-motivate required Valid drivers' license required Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds required Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Visio) Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP required Advanced, proven knowledge of office management/administrative support practices and procedures required Advanced experience with electronic filing systems required Willingness to occasionally work weekends and possible overtime required Ability to work in inclement weather conditions required Minimum of two (2) years' prior office administration, knowledge and skills equivalent to that gained through a clerical/secretarial experience preferred Previous construction and maintenance experience preferred What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
