Long Term Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is looking for a Drilling Services Administrator to join the MRM team. The Drilling Services Administrator manages all drilling data being collected and released through the Drilling Services Section; the day-to-day coordination of MRM drilling operations; daily interface with mine site-based Drilling Supervisors and Contractors; drilling contract compliance; financial + administrative duties and reporting. The position reports to the Drill Services Planning Supervisor and provides support to the site Mineral Resource Manager and Projects Geologists.Responsibilities:
- Liaises with and supports Mine Site Drilling Supervisors on daily basis.
- Maintains solid working relationships with NGM departments (Supply Chain, Safety, IT, Contracts, Accounts Payable, MRM, Project Management, Supervisory and Coordinating Personnel).
- Create Purchase Requisitions, track purchase orders, and spend in SAP.
- Invoice Reconciliation
- Cost monitoring and reporting.
- Maintaining relevant files, filing structures, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the development, publishing, and document control of drilling SOP's.
- Complete routine cost comparisons - drill rig to drill rig, consumables usage, drilling costs, standby and worktime.
- Help manage drilling project financials and support Geologists with reporting, accruals, and project closure.
- Maintain and circulate meeting schedules, meeting minutes and related action logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Professional and detail-oriented attitude required.
- Demonstrated safety, performance and attendance record required.
- Experience with and understanding of general office procedures required.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), interacting across all organizational levels required.
- Proficiency using MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
- Pre-existing experience or ability to learn SAP software preferred.
- Ability to work in a diverse team and fast-paced work environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic drill operations (i.e. rotary, core, muds etc.) preferred.
- Previous exposure to Mining and or Drilling industry (1-2yrs) preferred.
- Previous data entry, clerical, administrative, contract management roles (2-4yrs) within or external to mining and drilling industries preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in analysis and reporting of financial and or business data (1-2yrs) preferred.
