Job Description
AM Clinical Intern Reports To:
Supervisor within Clinical and Crisis Services Division This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 during a single calendar week (Monday - Sunday) Position Overview Intern works within the Clinical and Crisis Services Division on assigned cases, projects and tasks while being exposed to the company culture and working environment. Essential Job Functions- Assists supervisor with clinical meetings, support plan developments, and support service delivery
- Participates in outreach and other meetings with individuals/systems of support as determined by their supervisor
- Maintains the confidentiality of any information relating to individuals and employees of the organization Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of PowerPoint presentations
- Always communicates in a respectful manner with all valued stakeholders including the people we support, supervisors, other valued team members, and members of the community
- Performs other duties as assigned Education, Work Experience, and Competencies
- College undergraduate with degree in human services or related field
- Computer literacy required
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential
- Must be efficient, well organized, have excellent communication skills and proficient writing skills with grasp of basic grammar and spelling Physical Demands
- Employee is required to sit, walk and stand for prolonged period of time (at least 8 hours)
- Employee is required to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Employee is required to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax and filing cabinets
