Job Description
Position responsibilities:
Assigned to Counselors
Registrar (students coming in and exiting) Exit interviews for all students Math placement exams Program planning for 8 go 9 8 go 9 transition forms 6 and 7th course recommendation mailings Parent conferences to teachers and families Tour/Shadow request Scheduling student appointments Calling students down if they do not show for appointment Sending passes for student appointments Managing calendar Printing of daily calendar for respective counselors and hanging on door Grades MAP testing (summer) SchoolTool/Parent Portal Report cards Filing of mailings that are sent home Counseling and administration "below 65" report Civil Service Title
Office Clerk II
Job Qualifications
Must be on the current Office Clerk II certification of eligibles, be eligible for a transfer or be eligible to take the next Office Clerk II civil service exam.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of paid full-time office clerical or secretarial experience; or
- Graduation forma regionally accredited or NYS registered college or university with an Associate's degree of at least 60 credit hours of college, or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and experience as defined by the limits of A and B above.
