About Us Platinum Appraisals & Tax Grievances is a trusted, Long Island-based real estate firm specializing in property appraisals and tax grievance services. We help homeowners and property owners navigate one of the most important financial decisions they'll ever face — ensuring their property is valued accurately and fairly. Every person on our team plays a direct role in the quality of service our clients receive, and we take that seriously. The Role We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team on a long-term basis. This is not a temporary position — we are investing in someone who wants to grow with us. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a warm personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball. You will be the operational backbone of our day-to-day office activity, ensuring clients are taken care of, appraisers are scheduled, and our files are organized and accurate. What You'll Do Create and organize files for incoming appraisal orders with accuracy and consistency Schedule and coordinate appraisal appointments between clients and appraisers Manage a high volume of client emails with professionalism and timely responses Answer incoming phone calls with a warm, clear, and helpful demeanor Enter and maintain data across our appraisal software and internal systems Support the team with day-to-day office operations as needed What We're Looking For A positive, team-first attitude — we work closely together and culture matters here Strong verbal and written communication skills; you are comfortable on the phone Ability to stay organized and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) At least 1 year of administrative or office support experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in real estate is a plus — but not required; we will train the right person Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay: $25.00
