Personal Assistant for College Student Community Habilitation DSP Needed Need an Organized Person who plan organize and execute an plan to assist a person with Autism who will be attending college Help with collecting and organizing assignments Assist with creating a priority list for assignments & create calendar schedule to complete assignments Check in to monitor progress of assignments through completion Assist with checking emails - decide which ones to discard, create and monitor followup on others Assist with daily living skills; supervise room clean up. laundry, checking in with family and friends My son is 20 years old. He has Autism & ADHD. He is very independent and conversational. His needs are supervision for task completion and safety - impulsiveness, proper use of language & topics for social settings Coach-review agenda at beginning of shift and the start of an activity, review how to handle challenges that may come up in a social setting Repeat instructions Step in to assist if he is in need Frustration management Deescalate behaviors My son is a pleasant youg man who enjoys participating in social events, exercising, and exploring.
