Front Desk & Studio Administrative Assistant Next Level Dance Center - 5.0 East Rochester, NY Job Details Part-time From $18 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications Greeting customers Personal service experience with children Graphic design Canva Attention to detail Full Job Description Next Level Dance Center is seeking a friendly, dependable and organized Front Desk & Studio Administrative Assistant to join our team for the 2026-2027 dance season. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families and is comfortable in a busy dance studio environment. Previous dance or dance studio experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting dancers and families and assisting with general questions Providing front desk coverage during evening and Saturday classes Answering basic questions regarding classes, schedules, tuition, studio policies and upcoming events Assisting with parent communication and directing more involved questions to the Studio Owner Helping new families and trial students navigate the studio Monitoring the lobby and helping maintain an organized, welcoming environment Assisting with attendance, registration and basic administrative tasks Light social media assistance, including taking photos/videos and helping prepare or schedule studio content Occasional Canva/design or promotional projects Helping with studio events, recital preparation and other seasonal administrative needs The ideal candidate is: Friendly, professional and comfortable communicating with parents Reliable and able to work independently Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable with computers, email and learning studio management software Familiar with social media and Canva Comfortable working around children of all ages Familiar with dance terminology and the general operation of a dance studio Dance or dance studio experience is strongly preferred.
Schedule:
Approximately 10-15 hours per week during the dance season, primarily weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.
Typical schedule:
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday:
approximately 4:00-7:00
PM Saturday:
approximately 8:30 AM-12:00 PM Some flexibility may be needed for studio events and seasonal needs.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
