The Position The Administrative Assistant will provide a supportive role in the office and handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The position involves working with physical and digital incoming mail, including legal documents and therefore requires high attention to detail. The Administrative Assistant will work alongside the Office Manager and other Administrative team members with several day-to-day duties and projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to remain calm and collected when handling escalated calls. Demonstrated strong organization and computer skills are required. This employee will intake, scan and review high-volumes of incoming mail. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and effectively exercise discretion and good judgment Responsibilities Answer phone calls and take detailed messages and distribute to the appropriate party. Assist with voicemail and distribute incoming faxes. Provide kitchen support in making coffee and restocking food and drinks. Monitor inventory and restock office and kitchen supplies; place orders as needed. Accept all incoming packages and mail; physically scan and sort high-volume incoming mail Assist with digital mail sorting and electronic distribution of documents. Provide support for all miscellaneous requests with a 'can do' attitude
