Job Description

Overview We're seeking a full-time Events Coordinator Assistant for a well-known banquet & dining venue to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for creating memorable experiences and a strong background in event planning and management. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As an Assistant, you will help oversee all aspects of event execution, from initial planning through to post-event evaluation.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and private functions. Handle client communication, contracts, and event day logistics. The Events Coordinator Assistant will report to the Director of Events.
Requirements:
Event/hospitality experience preferred Strong organizational & communication skills Must be proficient in the Google enterprise suite of products including Google Sheets, Google Forms, and email English and Hindi fluency is a must Must be able to work weekends (days off will be weekdays) Competitive wage with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and coordinate all aspects of private events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, and banquets. Assist in conducting site visits, preparing proposals, and managing event contracts Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams on menus, seating layouts, and event logistics Assist in menu planning and event coordination with clients to meet their specific needs Ensure smooth communication between clients, vendors, and staff Maintain tracking systems, databases and reporting for event records, budgets, and reports
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or banquet sales preferred Outgoing personality with an ability to deliver warm 5 star hospitality to each guest Must be familiar with using excel, adobe PDF and the Google Suite of products Strong organizational and communication skills Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
