As an Administrative Assistant, you will: Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and provide information and assistance as needed. Perform a variety of administrative and office support tasks, including mail distribution, copying, scanning, supply ordering, and special projects. Welcome visitors, vendors, and staff, and guiding them as needed through the building. Interact with patients and their families with compassion, professionalism, and respect for diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Effectively prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a busy environment. Work collaboratively as a member of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Exercise sound judgment, discretion, initiative, and flexibility in responding to daily operational needs. Learn, understand, and adhere to Horizon's policies, procedures, and privacy and confidentiality requirements. Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents using Microsoft Office applications and office technology, while adapting to new software and systems as needed.
