Job Description

Service Coordinator This is an excellent opportunity for a capable administrator who enjoys supporting others and would like to work for one of the largest Control Systems Engineering firms in the New York area. We provide innovative design, installation and true 24/7 service to our commercial, industrial and institutional clients. Responsibilities The Building Management System (BMS) Service Coordinator will handle a variety of general office, administrative and invoicing duties in support of the Service Department, assisting with daily operations, documentation, customer communication, and coordination of service activities. Answers company phones and dispatches messages or creates work tickets and performs follow up to ensure each ticket is addressed. Sets up new service jobs, sets up project folders; inputs purchase orders into billing software. Prepares Service Department work order billing. Provides administrative assistance for the Vice President of Technical Services, the Vice President of Business Administration and the Service Department staff, including typing, spreadsheet creation, and special projects. Uses customer database portals to update information, generate and distribute reports and draft proposals for software and equipment upgrades. Cross trains to perform similar functions when needed for all service contracts . Requirements Prior administrative experience. Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite. Aptitude to understand construction documents. Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Recent graduate with a Business degree will be considered. Work Location Glen Cove Office.
