Job Description

Description:
The administrative assistant is responsible for coordinating the agency's administrative functions. The main function of the administrative position is volunteer and employee scheduling. When on duty, the position will become the primary scheduling point of contact for volunteers, employees and trainees. The administrative assistant will prepare, distribute, and file documents, memos, reports, policies and meeting materials as directed by the agency administration. The administrative assistant will be responsible for ensuring compliance and credentialing as per agency policy and NYS requirements. The administrative assistant will be responsible for providing logistical support to agency administrators as directed. The administrative assistant will be responsible for assisting in the onboarding of new employees and volunteers. The administrative assistant will be responsible for ensuring on-duty staff are completing day to day operations (ePCR completion, station chores, etc.).
Qualifications:
2 years of administrative experience (required) High School Diploma or equivalent (required) 4 years of NYS Emergency Medical Technician Experience (Preffered) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. (required) Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. (required) Ability to work independently and or/with Operational and Executive Board. Basic knowledge of EMS operations. (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Products (required) Knowledge of Human Resources and Management (preferred)
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
