Personal Assistant to Lead EPA Starboard Staffing Irvington, NY Job Details Full-time $110,000 - $135,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Microsoft Outlook Spreadsheets Executive administrative support Driver's License Chauffeur driving Full Job Description A well-established private family in Westchester County seeks a Personal Assistant to support its long-tenured Lead Executive Personal Assistant. This second-in-command role will manage delegated work across personal, household, travel, event, and property needs. The position is primarily remote, with regular in-person responsibilities throughout Westchester County. The role is expected to evolve into direct support for a principal. The ideal candidate is an experienced Executive or Personal Assistant who is highly organized, discreet, patient, and collaborative; takes ownership of assignments; and works comfortably under the Lead Executive Personal Assistant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the Lead Executive Personal Assistant across administration, travel, errands, vendors, events, and projects Own delegated assignments from start to finish and provide clear, concise updates Coordinate travel with the family's travel agents and private charter company Prepare itineraries and advance destinations before the family's arrival, remaining as needed Plan events for 120+ guests, including vendors, catering, hotels, shuttles, and day-of logistics Handle local errands, pick-ups, and drop-offs throughout the Westchester area Coordinate household staff, drivers, property managers, and vendors across residences Assist with property projects, including preparing a potential Arizona residence Provide responsive coverage for time-sensitive needs, events, and changing priorities Build trust with a principal and gradually assume direct support as the role evolves
Requirements:
Legally able to work within the United States Three to five years of Executive or Personal Assistant experience; prior EA experience required Event-planning or coordination experience strongly preferred; hospitality experience is a plus Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills, plus comfort using Claude Exceptional organization, attention to detail, judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities Impeccable discretion, professionalism, reliability, and trustworthiness Patient, collaborative, and coachable, with the ability to thrive as a second-in-command Comfortable working independently from home while maintaining regular in-person availability Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to handle local errands required Valid U.S. passport and flexibility for domestic and potential international travel preferred Must reside in
Westchester County or Northern New Jersey Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with flexibility for events, travel, and time-sensitive needs. Location(s): Westchester County, New York; live-out and hybrid, with regular in-person presence required
Compensation:
$110,000-$135,000 per annum + full health benefits
